About the event
There was your life before they died.
And then there was The After.
When someone you love dies, you do not only grieve their physical presence. You may also grieve the life you shared, the future you expected, the role you held and the person you were before death changed what you know about life.
People may want the “old you” to come back. You may want that too. But grief changes us. The work is not forcing yourself to return to who you were. It is understanding what changed, meeting who you are now and learning how to participate in life again without feeling like you are leaving your person behind.
The After is a small, live six-week virtual grief and identity experience for adults who are heartbroken but curious about what comes next.
