Mind. Vision. performance.

LIVE TO YOUR FULL ATHLETIC POTENTIAL BY STRENGTHENING YOUR MIND AND DEVELOPING A STRONG VISION FOR YOUR OVERALL PERFORMANCE.

Being in the sports industry, Coach Megan has discovered key areas that coaches, parents and athletes are failing to invest in for their future. They are mental conditioning and a clear vision for their future. The pressure that comes with being a student athlete can be overwhelming. Given the number of athletes a college is responsible for, it is nearly impossible to help each player with their emotional and mental strength on a daily basis. That is why Coach Megan developed MVP Coaching for athletes. Read more about the basic steps each athlete will take below.

MIND

AN ATHLETE'S PERSONAL JOURNEY IS THE STARTING POINT FOR BUILDING EMOTIONAL STRENGTH. WE WILL EXAMINE ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR LIFE TO DETERMINE OUR MAJOR FOCUS.

VISION

YOU WILL BE GIVEN BEST PRACTICES TO IMPLEMENT NOT ONLY DURING YOUR PERFORMANCE, BUT IN TYOUR PERSONAL LIFE AS WELL.  WE WILL CONTINUOUSLY  EXAM YOUR WINS AND AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT TO BETTER FRAME YOUR INTENTIONS AND TRAINING GOALS. MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU WILL DEVELOP A VISION FOR YOUR FUTURE AND THE SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN ALL ASPECTS OF YOU LIFE.

PERFORMANCE

VICTORY IS NOT DETERMINED JUST BY THE POINTS YOU HAVE WON, BUT ALSO THE GROWTH IN BOTH YOUR MENTAL & PHYSICAL PLAY. COACH MEGAN WILL ARM THEM WITH THE SKILLS TO KEEP MOVING TOWARDS THEIR  GOALS AS AN ATHLETE, STUDENT, AND AWESOME HUMAN BEING!

post collegiate athletE?

Coach Megan has watched many collegiate athletes struggle with the post collegiate blues. They have trained their body and mind to compete. This can hinder personal and academic growth if a player has not placed focus on their future outside of athletic.  After college they have found themselves "out of their element", wanting the adrenaline rush of competition and with little to no expectations for their future.

Someone was always coaching them through their life and their identity is dependent on being an athlete. CONTINUE BEING COACHED in a way that is fits your lifestyle, expectations and goals.

AREAS OF COACHING:

  • Keeping you focused on your physical health.

  • Growing your emotional strength.

  • Developing your vision for the future.

  • Identifying your professional and acedimic strengths.

  • Creating a new identity outside of being a collegiate athlete.

YOU WILL ALWAYS BE AN ATHLETE AND THAT WILL ONLY HELP STRENGTHEN WHAT YOU DO FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS IN THIS WORLD!

"I went through a very personal,  traumatic experience while being a collegiate athlete. I had a lot of support, but the one thing that was missing was someone to observe and help me find a way to perform under this circumstance."

-J.G.Collegiate Tennis Athlete.

"Many of the girls on my team were lost after they graduated. They had the post college blues. They were missing the college family and weren't prepared for after college".

-Z.L. Collegiate Tennis Athlete.

If you have ever had to perform under pressure or even after a disappointing life struggle, then you know your thoughts can severely affect your ability to perform your best.

Coach Megan trained competitively all her being a daughter of a high school tennis coach and sister to a D1 collegiate coach. This experience has equipped Coach Young with the unique knowledge to help athletes develop mental strength and a vision for their future.
